SAILING DIRECTIONS 

Approaching Gloucester from Cape Arm, beware of the Londoner, a rode 200y** in extent, £ a. 
mile SJE.byE. from Thatchers I* South L* _ There is a channel to the West *4 of a mile wide, with 
6 &6 f™, but strangers should pass to the East* not approaching the Lights nearer than one 
mile, till they bear N.W. - With Thatcher’s l*L*f in one bearingNbyE.$E. one mile distant, steer 
S.W.by W£W.hve miles till East P*Light bears nearly North,haul round the F* to the North* 
and West*, keeping £ a mile from shore to dear East Point Ledge and Dog Bar. 

To enter Saudi East Harbour Bring Ten Pound Light to bear NNE. 4 E. and run tor it, when 
within £ a mile, or halfway between it and Blade Bess Point, steerEN.E.£E.towards Long Beach 
to Anchorage in 5 and 6 muddy bottom . 

To enter Inner Harbour Bring Ten Pound Lt to bear N.E. & steer N.E $N. passing cm Port-hand 
of Bound Bock Shoal and Ten Pound Ledge, when Ten Pound _£f bears E.S.E. distant 300y^f, 
steer N. E.by E.^E .into Inner Harbour.
